A: The 10 TPI (Teeth Per Inch) blade features larger teeth and deeper gullets compared to a 14 TPI blade. This makes the 10 TPI ideal for aggressive, fast cutting of thick metals (1/8" - 1/2" thick), such as steel pipes, angle iron, and rebar. A 14 TPI blade cuts slower but leaves a smoother finish and is better for slightly thinner medium-gauge metals.
