Q1: Does this blade cut as fast as a standard abrasive disc?

A: It offers a very consistent cutting speed. While a brand-new thin abrasive disc might feel slightly faster for the first few seconds, our diamond blade maintains a steady speed and does not bog down as it cuts deep, whereas abrasive wheels slow down as they shrink.

Q2: Will it overheat when cutting steel?

A: The blade is designed with cooling holes (if applicable) and the steel core dissipates heat effectively. It is designed for Dry Cutting. However, allowing the blade to spin freely for a few seconds between cuts helps cool it down and extends its life.

Q3: Can I use this on aluminum?

A: Yes! A major advantage of Vacuum Brazed technology is that it resists clogging. It cuts soft metals like aluminum and copper much better than abrasive wheels, which tend to gum up.
