A: Yes, these are Vacuum Brazed diamond bits, specifically designed for dry drilling at high temperatures. The wax or cooling segments inside (for smaller diameters) and the high-quality diamond coating allow for efficient heat dissipation. However, using water will always extend the lifespan of the tool and reduce dust.

Q: What is the recommended RPM for this drill bit set?
A: For the best performance on an angle grinder, we recommend an operating speed between 10,000 and 14,000 RPM. Higher speeds generally result in cleaner holes and faster drilling in hard porcelain.

Q: Is the M14 thread compatible with my drill?
A: The M14 thread is designed for standard Angle Grinders. If you wish to use these bits with a standard electric power drill or cordless drill, you will need an M14 to Hex Shank adapter (which we can provide upon request).

Q: What materials can this kit cut and drill?
A: This set is versatile and capable of cutting and drilling through the hardest materials including Porcelain grade 5, Granite countertops, Marble, Ceramic tiles, Masonry, and Brick. It is not recommended for tempered glass or wood.

A: Lifespan depends on the material hardness and drilling technique. On average, a vacuum brazed bit can drill 30-50 holes in hard porcelain tile. Using a swaying motion (orbital drilling) while drilling helps eject debris and extends life.
