A: No. These are Vacuum Brazed bits designed specifically for Dry Drilling. The diamonds can withstand high heat. However, dipping the bit in water or using wax occasionally can extend the lifespan even further.

Q2: What tool do I need?
A: These bits have an M14 Thread, which fits directly onto almost all 4.5" (115mm) and 5" (125mm) Angle Grinders. Using an angle grinder (high RPM) is recommended for the best performance.

Q3: Can I drill hard porcelain tiles?
A: Yes. Vacuum brazed technology is the best choice for drilling Class 5 hard porcelain tiles. Start at a 45-degree angle to create a groove, then slowly straighten the bit to vertical while oscillating (wobbling) the machine.
